hands-up.jpgJewish Family Education programmes can be arranged in your school, and Laurie Rosenberg, Eureka Cove’s Community Liaison director, will gladly come to your school to help you to plan and run your own event, sponsored by Eureka Cove

Our first event took place on Thursday 15 March at JCoSS on the theme of preparing for Pesach (Passover). Those attending enjoyed a “Masterclass” in making kneidels, from JC Food editor and chef, Victoria Prever, and learnt about how the diversity of Jewish communities has added its own little bit of uniqueness to the simple kneidel.

Families also created their own Haggadah cover using their own memories and made something that can be used throughout the generations.

And of course enjoyed delicious Eureka Cove chicken soup, and a goody bag of products to sample at home!

Jewish Family Education need not be arranged around a festival. It could be a Masterchef contest, a story telling workshop, or preparing for Shabbat. It can be for all ages and generations, or have specific activities for different ages and a fun time at the end. But it always involves food, music, story and fun!

The only limit is your imagination!
